The feasibility study comprises:

• Preliminary work to be done by the customer to identify its own team for the project (Onsite)
• Preliminary work to be done by DT in selecting its own team to interact with the client (Onsite & offshore)
• Preliminary define & analyze work to be done by DT (Onsite & offshore) which includes:
• Analyzing metrics of existing system
• Defining measurable objectives and expectations
• Establishing service levels

The system appreciation phase covers
• Inputs on customer's maintenance lifecycle
• Customization of maintenance methodologies
• Knowledge transfer by customer analysts on systems, databases, interfaces and main processes

This is typically the on-going maintenance phase wherein DT takes over the complete responsibility for application maintenance and support
The onsite & offshore maintenance phase addresses:
• Process Description: the lifecycle activities to be performed while maintaining requests for bug fixes.
• Status Tracking: Project status to be tracked and weekly status reports to be sent.
• Quality Assurance: Independent reviews to be undertaken for medium to high complexity requests.
• These include code reviews, test case reviews and independent testing.
